Local business owners are invited to a free seminar on how to use cloud-based mobile and web apps to save time, money, and effort.

Switchplane, the Eastbourne-based web agency, is running the event in support of Eastbourne Chamber's ecommerce and internet strategy, which aims to promote the web as a tool for small business growth.

Ray Mason, Chief Executive of Eastbourne Chamber, is urging business owners to embrace technology: "The cloud has the potential to create massive growth and this seminar will help business owners to understand what's possible. In the current economic climate, it's crucial that we make the most of every opportunity".

The seminar is designed for companies with 5 or more staff, and includes an introduction to the cloud, interactive problem-solving workshops, plus a chance to network with other delegates.

Joel Fielder from Switchplane commented that "most business owners don't realise what's possible with cloud technology. We want to change that, and help local companies become more profitable".

The seminar is running at 13:30 on Tuesday 4th October, at the Hardwick Suite, International Lawn Tennis Centre, Eastbourne - places are limited to just 25 so early booking is recommended.
