Editing a Content Page

In order to edit a content page, you must have the content management permission and permission to edit the content category. Ask your head administrator if you don't have these permissions.

How to edit a content page

Step 1: Login to your account and navigate to the content page that you want to edit.

Step 2: Select "Edit this page" from the "Page Content Options" menu at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Complete the form and press continue to edit the content page.

Content Page Properties

File - the name of the page on the website, specifies the URL of the content page. Do not put .php on the end of the name. For example, entering "info" for the file will create a content page at www.yourdomain.com/yourcategory/info.php. Spaces and punctuation are not allowed to be used in page names.

Name - a human readable name for the content page e.g. "Delivery Questions". The name of the content page is shown in the site map, page title and page breadcrumbs.

Description - a summary of the content on the content page. This information is displayed in the description meta tag when the page is rendered. Search engines use this to work out whether a page is relevant to a search term and to provide a summary of the page in their search results.

Content - the SML content for the content page.
