As with all of our services, we concentrate 100% on delivering a good return on investment. With intranets, that means increasing efficiency or reducing physical costs (e.g. postage, stationery, phone calls). We approach intranets using a 3-step process:
Most of our customers generally are not aware of how much they can use web-based technology to improve their operations. We visit your business, look at how you work, and identify areas where website technology can be applied.
Once we have identified areas, we will produce a document which summarises what technology we can provide, how it improves your business, and how much it costs.
You prioritise each area for development, and we can then implement it.
It will be hosted on one of our dedicated servers. If you are already on one of our managed website design packages, you will be able to access it via your website. Otherwise, you will have to ask your hosting company to setup a subdomain pointing to our hosting platform - we can give you the technical details or liase directly with your hosting company.
The review and production of the action plan costs £350+VAT, plus expenses if you are outside the areas we normally cover.
All other intranet development is charged at our ad-hoc development rate.
There is a monthly hosting fee which starts at £20+VAT.
