Basic Web Design
Website design based on your existing company image. You will need to provide us with copies of your logo and other company literature and we will design a simple website which complements your existing brand.
You should choose this web design level if:
- You want to use your existing logo and company branding on the website
- You are transferring your existing website to our platform and you don't need a new design
The guide price for basic web design is £349+VAT. You can add content management for an additional £50+VAT.
Advanced Web Design
Website design that is unique to you. This web design level can include elements such as logo design and corporate branding, as well as more advanced web design features.
You should choose this web design level if:
- You need a logo or other company branding
- You have additional artwork requirements
The guide price for advanced web design is £699+VAT. You can add content management for an additional £50+VAT.
Content Management
Add content management to your site for just £50+VAT.
We strongly recommend content management as it means that you cankeep your website up-to-date and add loads of new content. This leadsto:
- higher search engine rankings
- better conversion rate, which means more sales
Content management is the ability to add, edit, and delete content on your website, at any time. All you need is access to the internet and a modern browser. It works in the same way as a word processor like Microsoft Word or OpenOffice Writer - you don't need any technical knowledge. If you get stuck there is help available on our website or you can contact technical support.
Hosting and Support
Hosting means making your website available on the internet, providing you with email, and providing technical support. If you want to have your website hosted elsewhere, you will not benefit from essential features like the customer enquiry form and the email newsletter facility.
The cost of hosting and support starts at £20+VAT per month, regardless of which design level you choose. If your website gets very busy, we will increase the cost of the hosting inline with the amount of bandwidth you use.
What else do I get?
Regardless of which design level you need and whether you choose content management, all websites benefit from the following provided you host with us. If you do not want us to host the website, you will not benefit from features marked "with hosting only":
1 free domain name
We provide 1 free .com or .co.ukdomain free of charge and we'll ensure that it is registered in yourname. We'll also renew it each year for free so you don't need to worry.
Proper email address
Our email serviceprovides a proper email address like info@yourwebsite.com to ensurethat you maintain a professional image at all times.
You can have upto 5 email addresses and you may choose whether to collect them via POP3 using Outlook or Thunderbird, or you can have email forwarded onto your existing email address.
We recommend that you collect your email using Outlook or Thunderbird as this means that we can provide you with free webmail allowing you to check your email anywhere. Additionally, free email addresses like Hotmail and Googlemail give an unprofessional image to your customers.
5 pages setup for you
We'll setup your first 5 pages so that you get off to a flying start. If you're in our local coverage area and you have chosen to have content management installed, we'll visit you and work with you to get the initial pages setup - you get content management training for free!
Additional pages are charged at our ad-hoc rate. If you have lots of content, then we'll give you a discounted rate.
Fast turnaround
We aim to turnaround websites within 1 week of instruction.If you have additional artwork requirements, then we may not be able toachieve this, but under these circumstances we can have a holding pagein place within 1 week.
Customer enquiry form
A customer enquiry form allows visitors to your site to send you an email directly from your website. This makes it easier for them to contact you which in turn improves the chances that they will contact you.
Email newsletter
Our website technology allows visitors to your site to subscribe to your email newsletters. Email newsletters are an excellent way to generate more business from your existing customers. The first 1000 emails sent per month are free. The remainder are charged at our email newsletter rate.
Email newsletters are sent with anti-spam technology which ensures that your emails do not just go into your recipients' junk mail. We use domain keys and SPF records to achieve this.
99.99% uptime guarantee
We guarantee that our hostingplatform is running 99.99% of the time. In practice, it's actuallycloser to 100% but sometimes we have to restart our servers and performessential maintenance.
Enhanced anti-spam technology
All email that is sent to your website will be analysed by our anti-spam software. This detects spam emails and changes the subject to **SPAM**, making it easy to delete. We can help you setup a rule in your email to automatically delete the spam.
Google Analytics installation
Google Analytics allows you to monitor the performance of your website. You can see how many visitors you're getting, where they're coming from, which advertising campaigns are performing best, etc. Understanding how people use your website will allow you to generate more business from it.
Submission to all major search engines
We'll submit your website to all the major search engines to ensure that they find it quickly.
