Quality Care Group is a specialist insurance broker for the care sector, helping care providers manage risk while introducing them to a wider range of business services.
We're working with Darren and his team to spend less time gathering information and more time building relationships by transforming a fragmented prospecting process into an intelligent sales platform.
Quality Care Group didn't have a data problem.
The business already held all the information it needed across CRM records, CQC datasets, Monday.com, prospecting spreadsheets, call recordings and years of industry knowledge.
The challenge wasn't collecting more data. It was bringing that information together in a way people could actually use.
By connecting data, people and AI, we're helping Quality Care Group turn years of operational knowledge into a system that supports better decisions every day.
What could we do for you?
Before Switchplane...
Darren was like you.
Quality Care Group operates in a specialist, highly regulated market where timing and relationships are everything. Winning new business depends on identifying the right organisations, understanding their circumstances and speaking to decision-makers before competitors do.
As the business grew, prospecting became increasingly data-intensive.
Every month, valuable time was spent compiling prospect lists by cross-referencing CRM records with CQC data, researching organisations, enriching contact information and preparing opportunities for the sales team.
The information existed.
It just wasn't connected.
Experienced salespeople were spending too much time researching prospects and updating records instead of building relationships. Meanwhile, someone else was manually pulling together the information they needed before they could even begin making calls.
The challenge
Quality Care Group didn't need more data.
They needed a way to make their existing data work harder.
The team needed quicker answers to important questions.
- Which prospects should we contact first?
- Which organisations are most likely to convert?
- What happened during the last conversation?
- What should happen next?
- Where should we focus our time today?
Answering those questions often meant checking several systems before picking up the phone.
The goal wasn't simply to build another CRM.
The goal was to help people make better decisions, faster, while giving the sales team more time to do what they do best.
Working with us
We built what Darren needed.
Rather than replacing the systems Quality Care Group already relied on, we designed a central platform that connects them into a single, intelligent workflow.
Behind the scenes, the platform brings together information from across the business, creating a single source of truth that supports both people and AI. Instead of searching multiple systems, the team will have everything they need in one place, while Enso, Switchplane's AI assistant, surfaces information, answers questions and automates repetitive tasks.

Replacing manual research with intelligent prospecting
Helping the sales team spend more time selling.
Every month, Quality Care Group manually collates information from multiple sources to produce prospect lists for the business development team. Valuable time is spent gathering, checking and enriching data before a single phone call can be made.
The platform automates much of that work. Information that previously had to be gathered manually is brought together automatically, while Enso enriches opportunities with additional context, researches organisations and presents the right information before every conversation.
Instead of researching prospects, the team can focus on building relationships.

Turning every conversation into business intelligence
Making knowledge easier to capture, share and reuse.
Calls are transcribed, summarised and converted into follow-up tasks, ensuring valuable information doesn't disappear into notebooks or individual inboxes.
Enso analyses conversations, highlights important actions and builds a growing knowledge base around each prospect, helping every member of the team benefit from previous interactions.
As more activity passes through the platform, Quality Care Group is building an increasingly intelligent understanding of what successful opportunities look like, from identifying which care providers are most likely to convert, to understanding which insurers are likely to quote, why opportunities are won or lost, and the characteristics of an ideal client.
Instead of relying on individual expertise, the business is creating shared intelligence that becomes more valuable with every interaction.

Putting business intelligence in Darren's pocket
Giving leadership instant answers instead of manual reports.
Alongside the prospecting platform, we're developing a dedicated executive app that gives Darren live access to the information he needs to run the business.
Rather than asking colleagues to compile reports from multiple systems, he'll be able to view real-time dashboards and ask Enso questions in plain English.
Whether he wants to understand sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates, team activity or emerging opportunities, Enso will provide immediate answers using live business data.
The result is faster decision-making, better visibility across the business and less time spent producing management information.

The outcome
Building a smarter sales operation.
Quality Care Group is creating a platform that makes better use of the information it already holds, helping the sales team spend less time gathering information and more time building relationships.
Knowledge that was previously spread across systems, spreadsheets and individual experience is becoming easier to understand, share and act upon.
As the platform continues to evolve, it will reduce administration, improve decision-making and provide a scalable foundation for future AI across the business.
The techy bit...
Every 15 minutes, calls are pulled from Quality Care’s IP phone system and transcribed by AWS Transcribe, with each speaker matched to a real name. Claude then summarises each call, answering through a fixed schema so that actions agreed on the phone become tasks on the right person’s dashboard. The pipeline is modular, so Teams meetings can be processed the same way. Enso works with a range of tools, but within firm limits: its tool loop is capped, every request is checked against the user’s privileges, and it has to ask before changing anything. CQC data syncs hourly, with a full weekly comparison because the CQC’s changes feed never reports new registrations. Lead scores arrive daily from SharePoint through an app-only Microsoft permission limited to a single site, and any import that would wipe out half the scores refuses to run. The principle throughout: AI does the reading, the code decides what it’s allowed to touch. The platform runs on AWS, a Switchplane PHP container on ECS, with MySQL on RDS, the same pattern behind our other platforms. Darren’s executive app is being built in Flutter.
Now, how can we help you?
Are you like Darren?
Are your teams spending too much time researching, gathering information, or updating multiple systems before they can get on with their real job?
Does valuable knowledge live in spreadsheets, disconnected software, or the heads of experienced team members?
Could your business make better decisions if the right information was available instantly, in one place?
If so, let's talk.
We help organisations connect their data, processes, and people, using AI where it adds real value, so teams spend less time on administration and more time doing the work that matters.
