We are not currently hiring BUT if coding is your life and you are looking for a change why not send us your CV?
Our company and values
We’re a world-class software engineering firm, so we need the best people in our team who share a desire to build stuff that creates real change for people.
We are builders, makers, creators. We bring new things into the world. The same way as no-one buys pre-built Lego: the joy is in the solving as much as the solution, and if it’s difficult, then so much the better.
We work human-to-human, building software that brings about meaningful changes within businesses and organisations across the UK. Our work brings tangible differences to people's lives, helping them to:
- Free up time
- Sell more effectively
- Improve customer service
- Improve employee experiences
- Save lives, through social impact of some kind
We are good citizens and we take care of our people and our planet.
Our values guide all our critical decisions from hiring to project delivery, so before you get in touch with us, check them out to make sure they align with your own.

Like the sound of this so far? Then you'll need to know about our hiring process.
Our hiring process is thorough to ensure we find the right people who fit into our organisation. It’s your opportunity to get to know us too, with chances to meet other team members along the way and get a real glimpse of Switchplane life.
At the beginning of the process we will ask you if you require any adjustments to support you and we will be happy to discuss these with you - we're working hard to remove bias and barriers for our people and our candidates.
Our process is as follows:
Email your CV and, for developer roles, a sample of your code, to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If your CV matches what we’re looking for, we’ll send you a short online questionnaire to complete. This will take approximately 20 minutes and helps us to learn a little more about you, beyond the CV.
We review your questionnaire responses and, if we feel you could be a good fit, we arrange a video interview with you.
You will be set a task relating to the role you are applying for - this might be remote or in person depending on the nature of the task.
Meet the team and final interview
We review your performance and if you are a strong candidate, we’ll invite you in to meet some of our team and have a final interview with our CEO and CTO.
Hooray, you made it!
We will hopefully make you an offer and welcome you into our Switchplane family!
We aim to keep you well-informed throughout the recruitment process, so we’ll let you know the outcome after each stage. We hope the process also helps you to discover more about us, and whether we're an organisation you would enjoy working for.
