It was our second time exhibiting at The Big Futures Show, an annual event which this year took place on the 24th April at Sussex Downs College’s Eastbourne campus. The show is aimed at 14-19 years olds who are looking to find out about possible career paths. Fifteen hundred students visited from schools in East Sussex, so we went armed with swag bags filled with goodies and our fun and addictive Falling Birds game. It was great chatting to the students about their career options and answering their questions about what it's like to work at Switchplane, including the different job roles we have.
We were very impressed with some of the students enthusiasm, including a 15 year old who had created his own app and was keenly showing us photos of a storyboard he had created. It’s good to know there are some promising future “Switchplaners” on the horizon!

It was also the second outing for our app, Falling Birds, which was greatly received by the students, with many an “ooh” and “ahh” as they tried to beat each other’s scores, and some returning to our stand for another go.
It was a great day and we hope we gave the students an insight into some of the options they might have working for a digital agency such as Switchplane.
